We now have a new solution for post footings that is lightweight, easy-to-use and environmentally-friendly!

The FootingPad Composite Footing System by Ag-Co carries the same loads as concrete footing pads of the same diameter; but they are much quicker and easier to use.  They also reduce plastic waste and pollution, because they are made of 100% recycled plastic content.

To use them is a snap!  You just level and tamp the bottom of your hole, put the FootingPad in smooth-side down, and place a post or Perma-Column on top.  No backfilling with concrete - soil or other backfill will work.  Just use uplift anchors or wooden cleats at the bottom of each post or column to address wind uplift when necessary. You can also bolt them to the bottom of a pre-cast concrete Perma-Column DeckPost - nothing could be easier AND longer-lasting! 

They're engineeered, tested and ICC listed.  You simply use them in place of a concrete "cookie" "doughnut" or "puck" - or perhaps you have your own regional term for a "concrete pad"!
