Post-frame is the only type of wood-framed structure that offers a UL approved three hour firewall assembly:

There is no other approved firewall assembly that exceeds the three hour test using wood framing; there is no approved 3-hour firewall for stud-wall buildings. Post-frame buildings may be designed to be just as fire resistant or even more fire resistent than other types of buildings.
